Situation
Fig Tree Cottage sits in the heart of the village of Kintbury, being within a conservation area and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a good range of facilities including Post Officestore, church, primary school and several pubs. Kintbury sits on the beautiful Kennet and Avon Canal and has a train station within walking distance of the property, with trains to London Paddington taking approximately 1 hour. The surrounding countryside offers innumerable footpaths and bridleways. The historic market town of Hungerford lies 4 miles to the west and provides a wide range of shops and services whilst the larger centre of Newbury is 7 miles to the east with both centres having train services to London Paddington.
