Situated within the sought after village of Kennington just on the edge of Oxford is this three bedroom semi-detached home, thought to have been constructed in the late 1920s or early 1930s, offered for sale with no onward chain.

The property has features of its period, such as Bay Windows on both ground and first floor, and chimney breasts with alcoves to the side. The layout is familiar, with front door into an entrance hallway having stairs to the first floor, and a door heading from the hallway into the Living Room or straight ahead into the kitchen. The Lounge and Dining Room have been opened into one large Living Room Diner, and there is a conservatory/porch to the rear of the property which in turn then opens into the rear garden. At some point, what was once presumably the rear outhouse washroom has been incorporated into the property, which now therefore offers a ground floor wc not always found in this type of property.

On the first floor are three bedrooms and the family bathroom. There is also access to the loft providing potential storage space, being part boarded. Outside the property there is front garden and driveway parking, and a good sized garden to the rear. The property has gas central heating and is double glazed.

Kennington is a popular village just on the southern edge of Oxford; indeed, with an OX1 postcode. There is a strong sense of community, and the village offers local shops, hairdresser, laundrette, takeaways, primary school, pub and church. There is also a local playing field with football pitches. Larger supermarkets are available at either Abingdon or Oxford.
