" This is a spacious modernist house, designed by Fredrick James; a renowned Oxford architect in the 1960s and extensively remodelled over the last seven years by the present owners to create a beautiful home, full of natural light from stunning viewpoints and vistas linking the internal space to the outside. The property occupies approximately one third of an acre in the highest point of Kennington and wonderful views can be enjoyed from newly created first floor balconies and a second floor bedroom with "Juliette" balcony. There are five generous bedrooms in total with three newly created bathrooms; two of which are en-suite. There is also extensive, extended ground floor accommodation with two separate reception rooms and a newly fitted kitchen/breakfast room with integrated appliances. The gardens too have been extensively hard landscaped and are now an oasis of calm with carefully planted flora and fauna and a pond with a water feature. The gardens surround the property and there is a generous frontage offering plenty of parking, leading to a double garage. There is a focus on the use of stone, wood and slate and much care has been taken with fixtures and finish using craftsmen of local and national repute.
