The Property
One enters the property into an entrance hall which has the original tiled flooring with a door leading to the sitting room with stripped floorboards, bay window wtith original sash windows, picture rails and a pretty period working fireplace. The dining room has a fireplace also, again with stripped floorboards and double doors leading out to the rear garden. The kitchen, which was handmade by a local craftsman, having a good range of base units handpainted pale grey with pewter handles. There is space for fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer. There is space for an under counter oven although this is negotiatable. The kitchen has plenty of room for a dining table and chairs and a back door leads out to the rear garden and some further built in storage. Beyond the kitchen is a larger than average bathroom with roll top bath with shower attachment over, wash hand basin and toilet with plenty of room for additional shelving and a chair. Upstairs the master bedroom has an original fireplace and stripped flooring and a large built in wardrobe cupboard. There are two further double bedrooms both with original fireplaces. The fourth bedroom is currently being utilised as a study and has a pretty arched window overlooking Bungay Bowling Club green. The shower room has a tiled floor with corner cubicle housing an electric shower. There is a ceramic sink and toilet and this completes the accommodation.

Outside
One approaches the property up the original tiled pathway to an open entrance porch. To the rear of the property there is a garden mainly laid to lawn but with two areas perfect for "al fresco" dining one of which is on a decked area outside the dining room and kitchen doors which is very secluded. Currently the owners rent a garage for a fairly minimal sum and they can gain access through a rear gate out to the road and garage beyond.

This property is in the heart of the market town of Bungay. Bungay offers a good range of all the necessary amenities and shops, schools, antique shops, restaurants, The Fisher Theatre (now showing films) and leisure facilities including indoor swimming pool and golf club. The Cathedral City of Norwich is about 30 mins drive to the North and has a mainline train link to London Liverpool Street (1hr 54mins). Diss provides another mainline link to London and is 19 miles distant. The unspoilt heritage coastline of Suffolk with the lovely beaches of Southwold and Walberswick are a short distance away.
