" The School House is a beautifully extended and renovated unlisted five bedroomed detached stone family home situated opposite the Church in the heart of the popular Northamptonshire village of Maidwell. The present owners have carried out a number of improvements to include a two storey extension, replacement of all the doors and windows with matching sealed unit double glazing, the installation of under floor heating, re-fitting of the kitchen/dining room with bespoke cabinets, re-fitting of the two bathrooms, two en suites and cloakroom, landscaping of the garden and a complete re-decoration programme to a high specification. LOCAL AMENITIES Maidwell is a desirable north Northamptonshire village with a local pub and church together with an excellent primary school and Maidwell Hall a boarding and day preparatory school. The popular market town of Market Harborough is close by with a wide range of facilities including shops, restaurants, cafes, museum and leisure centres. For the commuter, the nearby A14 links with the M1 and A1, and both Market Harborough and Rugby have mainline services to London. HOW TO GET THERE From Northampton proceed in a north westerly direction along the A508 towards Kingsthorpe. Continue on the A508 through Kingsthorpe and pass villages of Boughton and Pitsford. Proceed straight on at the roundabout at Brixworth, continuing on the A508. Pass the village of Lamport and on entering the village of Maidwell take the first turning on the right into the Draughton Road. Follow the road past the Church and the School House can be found directly opposite the Church.
