" An impressive architecturally designed detach stone built family home located in the village of Helmdon, 2014 winner of Northamptonshire best village. Offering well appointed flexible accommodation, the property stands in attractive gardens and grounds extending to approximately 0.63 of an acre. The property is set back from the road, the driveway leading to an integral double garage and parking for several vehicles. From here there is a vehicular gated access which leads to the garden and a large workshop. Constructed in 2008 of local ironstone beneath a slate roof, this contemporary high specification property features oak wood framed double glazed windows, under floor heating throughout the ground floor, family bathroom and master bedroom suite, all of which are independently controlled. The fittings make attractive use of oak within the dining hall, kitchen flooring, the staircase and decorative beams in the living room and master suite. Situation
Helmdon lies on the South Northamptonshire/Oxfordshire borders to the north of Brackley and is a ribbon village, divided by the infant River Tove. Amenities in the village include a public house, a top ten primary school (based upon 2015 SATS results for state primary school in England) and pre-school. The village has several social clubs as well as popular annual events. More extensive amenities can be found in the market towns of Brackley where you will find supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, a weekly market and boutique shops. A little further afield are the towns of Banbury, Northampton and Milton Keynes.

Mainline train services to London in under an hour (peak service), can be found at Milton Keynes (Euston), Bicester and Banbury (Marylebone). The A43 dual carriageway gives access to the M40 and M1 motorways.

The front is open to lawn and features a central pathway leading to the main entrance. The rear of the property can be accessed from either side of the house with a vehicular access to one side leading to the rear of the plot, where there is a workshop. There is a large rear garden with a paved terrace adjacent to the reception rooms. Within the garden, there is a sunken paved terrace with retaining sleepers, vegetable beds and small orchard.
