" Enjoying a prominent elevated position, this property should be without a doubt at the top of your viewing list. Unlike a lot of the properties in this road, this particular home enjoys far reaching views over towards the Medway Estuary. The owners have made many improvements to this home since their occupation and one of the biggest improvements they have thoroughly enjoyed is the open plan kitchen/dining area. This light and spacious room has been a great place for sitting down and enjoying a family meal and for entertaining when visitors come round. There are not many properties available with such frontage that give enough space providing a detached garage and parking for up to 2 cars, well this property certainly does! It’s been important for the current owners to be close to village life and within literally a 5 minute stroll down to the village centre, you have got all the amenities that you could need such as, banks, post office and some of the new cafes that have opened up in the village centre.

What the Owner says:

One thing that struck us when we first bought the property is how light and airy it felt and especially a great feature was having the distant views across the village of Hoo towards the river. One of the things that we were going to do was look at building another garage at the front of the property, next to the existing garage, and although planning permission has probably expired now, certainly we don’t envisage that anyone else would have a problem in resurrecting that and building a second garage. The loft space in this house is huge and would definitely give any future buyer the potential for conversion, making a fantastic space, maybe for a master bedroom and an en-suite.
