" A beautiful detached period cottage, offered to the market with no onward chain and located on a peaceful lane in the sought after village of Sheldwich, approximately two miles to the south of Faversham and eight miles to the west of Canterbury. The cottage sits on a large plot which affords parking for several vehicles on a gravel driveway at the front and charming, well established gardens which surround the property on all sides. Whilst requiring updating throughout, the property is not listed which improves the ease of renovation and scope for further extension subject to the usual consents . Upon entry, a hallway provides access to the two main reception rooms, both with attractive exposed beams and pretty latticed windows. The larger of the two rooms has a handsome inglenook fireplace and a door into a third reception room which would made an ideal home office, hobby room or ground floor bedroom. The kitchen breakfast room overlooks the garden to the rear and leads into a utility room with separate WC. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor and is accessed via a rear hallway which has French doors opening to the garden and stairs to the first floor. The first floor offers two good size double bedrooms and a third room which has previously been used as a dressing room.
