" You might like the idea of an older cottage style property but don't want the hassle of all the maintenance. In that case, this is well worth a viewing as it is an attractive cottage style, but is in fact a modern home, with benefits of modern living.
The addition of the conservatory has made some excellent extra space downstairs. A lovely place to sit and read a book, look out onto the garden, use as a dining room or even as a study.
The kitchen has a 'country feel' and is also a very good size for a house of this type. There is plenty of room to make your favourite meals, or do some baking.
These types of homes are very popular with both first time buyers and older people who are looking to downsize into a house in a nice location.
The parking that comes with this type of home is always very welcome as is the downstairs WC in addition to the upstairs bathroom.
The location here on Carpenters Close is off of the Old Pattens Lane and is only approximately one mile from Rochester train station and only 1.5 miles from Rochester High Street. A great location for those who are looking to commute and also for those who wish to enjoy the delights the High Street has to offer such as restaurants, pubs and quaint shops.

What the Owner says:

I walked into this house and absolutely fell in love with the kitchen. I just had to buy it! I really feel that the kitchen is one of the biggest selling points here, along with the brilliant garden size and the two really good sized bedrooms.
Since living here over the last 3 years we have made improvements to include replacing the bathroom suite, adding decking in the garden and re-decorating.
Apart from the house itself we were also really attracted to the area here. The close has a lovely feel to it and the types of houses here are very different to some of the other parts of Rochester.
This house feels more like a cottage style but with the benefits of being a modern house. We also liked the idea of living close to the Castle and Cathedral.
