" A quite delightful 1930's 'Chown' built family home in this popular semi rural road, to the south of the village and close to the Surrey Hills. With a lovely feel inside, combining with the character features, which the house has to offer, this spacious home is all ready for you to move into. From the large central hallway, the main living room, being triple aspect, has a feature working fireplace with its tiled hearth and wood mantle and french doors which lead on to the rear terrace. As well as the useful study for the homeworker downstairs, there is also a further reception room which is ideal as an informal family room/TV room or indeed as a children's playroom, which has double doors again on to the rear garden and a useful large walk-in storage cupboard. The eat-in kitchen/breakfast room has a tiled floor and double glazed windows which overlook the rear garden. With plenty of storage behind the Shaker style cream coloured units, all of this is topped with granite worktops, plus a good range of built in appliances, which include a Stoves double oven, Neff '4' ring gas hob and extractor above, Neff dishwasher and separate built in fridge and freezer. Upstairs are the 4 double bedrooms and 2 family bathrooms. Most bedrooms have built in wardrobes and storage and have use of either the family bathroom with its white suite and shower over the bath, or the modern shower room with its 2 sinks, large shower and heated towel rail. However, and if required, one of the bathrooms could easily be incorporated with 1 of the bedrooms to make an en-suite.

Gardens

To the front, which is well screened with a laurel hedge, there is a '5' bar gate which opens on to the gravel driveway, which as well as providing parking for numerous cars, also gives access to the 2 garages, both having power and light and electrically operated doors. The westerly facing rear garden, which is very private, is predominantly lawned and bordered with shaped beds containing a wide variety of mature plants and shrubs, providing a lovely splash of colour. For outside entertaining, a terrace runs along the rear of the house and for those keen gardeners, a useful greenhouse and compost area are found at the top of the garden along with a timber chalet.
