This 5-bedroom house, situated on a attractive plot of just under half an acre, forms part of the Hampden Hill Conservation Area in the popular Buckinghamshire town of Beaconsfield. Although rural in character, the area is very close to the town centre and train station which connects to London in under 25 minutes.

The houses on Hampden Hill were designed by Mary Christian Hamp and constructed in 1963. They have recently been awarded Conservation Area status, with the appraisal describing them as "a rare example ofโ€ฆ a housing development of innovative, contemporary and distinctive design which remains largely as the architect intended". Also mentioned is the "quality of construction" and "the tranquil, rural setting".

Being offered for sale is a house of the Type B variety. It features large, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the extensive gardens. The house is arguably the best on Hampden Hill thanks to the size of its garden and location at the furthest end of the Conservation Area. It has also been maintained in a manner that is in keeping with Hamp's original design.

Accommodation includes five bedrooms, two reception rooms, a kitchen and dining room. A number of the spaces are double-height and feature full-height glazing. Original features include hardwood stairways and a brick open fireplace. There is a double garage and off street parking at the front of the house. A large garden slopes away to the rear, ending in a small area of woodland. The outlook from property is a pleasing rural view of fields and woodland interspersed with housing.

Hampden Hill is located close to the centre of Beaconsfield (approximately five minutes by car and twenty five minutes by foot to the Old Town and railway station). Beaconsfield is an historic market town that sits in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is linked to London by the Chiltern Railways line to Marylebone with journey times frequently under 30 minutes. Beaconsfield is also renowned for its excellent schools (both state and private), including Beaconsfield High School. The town has an excellent range of shops, pubs and restaurants with further facilities being available at the nearby town of Amersham. "
