" Situated on the outskirts of Guildford in semi rural Normandy this is a beautifully presented detached chalet style home that has been cleverly extended and beautifully updated by our clients. As with all chalet style homes there is very much an element of flexibility in the way the accommodation can be used depending upon the needs of an incoming buyer, either way the layout works extremely well for modern day living and is beautifully proportioned throughout. On the ground floor there is a substantial tiled entrance hall with underfloor heating which leads to all of the principal ground floor rooms with the main living rooms being on the back of the house including a large sitting/dining room with double glazed doors opening out onto the terrace and garden beyond and a fireplace with a fitted log burner all of which makes a superb principal reception room. On the other side of the house, likewise on the back overlooking the garden, is a quite beautifully fitted kitchen/breakfast room, also with a tiled floor with underfloor heating and a whole range of wooden units, beautiful granite works surfaces, a stainless steel range with stainless steel extractor above and an integrated dishwasher and from here there is a large picture window that overlooks the terrace and the garden and a door that leads out onto the same. On the front of the house there are 2 double bedrooms and in the middle a beautifully fitted shower room. Upstairs the rooms continue in the same light and airy vein with a master bedroom on the back, overlooking the garden, which has a full range of built in wardrobes, while on the front there is a further bedroom with wardrobes and on the side a 5th bedroom/study. Off the landing there is a very well equipped family bathroom with partly tiled walls, underfloor heating and a velux window that allows in a great deal of natural light. All in all this is a beautifully presented family home that has been cared for by our clients with great attention to detail and one which will make a wonderful home for the incoming buyer. "
