" Sitting in a highly regarded residential road within easy reach of the town this ia a beautifully proportioned and very well presented family home of character. Built in the 1950's it sits in a very attractive and mature plot, is laid out over two floors and has accommodation that works extremely well for the family living on a formal and a day to day living basis. The principal living rooms all lead from a large and welcoming reception hall which immediately creates a sense of light and space that in fact runs through the house as a whole. Off to one side of the hall the sitting room is very warm and comfortable as well as notably light thanks to its triple aspect with doors at one end that open onto the terrace and the garden beyond. The adjacent dining room is similarly attractive and also looks out over the garden as well as having a side door that opens onto the terrace. These two rooms therefore work extremely well together in the summer months in terms of inside/outside living. On the other side of the house the kitchen/breakfast/family room has been created by the current owners and is a fabulously light and roomy informal living space with bi-fold doors that open out onto the terrace all of which makes this a very practical, to say nothing of impressive, part of the house.
