" A Beautiful First Floor Abrahams Flat.
We liked this flat as soon as we saw it, and we re pretty sure you will too. It is the kind of flat any first time buyer would be thrilled to call their own, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy yourself. Its location could hardly be better either. On the High Road check out The Leyton Technical, particularly if you like a roast dinner on a Sunday (the Vegetarian Wellington is fabulous!), or perhaps the Leyton Star (where counter intuitively the Donald Trump burger is actually really nice). Both will certainly catch the eye of keen wine, beer and coffee drinkers alike. Closer to home there's the rapidly changing Francis Road (shh - we can't tell you too much but watch this space), where Marmelo Kitchen, Yardarm et al are ready and willing to welcome you in with good food and good wine aplenty. And if you do over indulge, then why not take a short stroll around the Olympic Park - it's literally on your doorstep. Or if that sounds a bit too strenuous then relax and watch some cricket at Leyton Cricket Ground.

Living here... Walk through the front door, slip off your shoes and coat, and wander upstairs. Make your first port of call the double bedroom at the front (which the current owners are utilizing as their lounge), where light floods in through the bay window, and where you can warm your feet in front of the fire on the cold winter's evenings. Moving along the landing and passed the second bedroom, you come to the heart of the house, the large kitchen/diner, which is a great entertaining space. The current living space is completed by the refurbished/renovated bathroom. However, if you want still more space than this already generous flat provides, then look no further than the loft space above. Currently used for storage, this could easily be turned into a master bedroom suite, subject of course to the usual permissions and consents. Finally, there is the private rear garden (accessed either directly from the flat or via the sideway), which when the warm weather eventually returns will be a wonderful space in which to while away the evenings. In This Area - By Walthamstow Diary Leyton is home to the only shop that can be seen from space. OK, that's not entirely true, but the carnival shop on the High Road is definitely bright. There's no way you'll miss this multi coloured wonder, it looks like it's made of Lego. The shop sits opposite Coronation Gardens, a beautiful park with a little maze, pond and fountain. Walk all the way through Coronation Gardens and you'll find Leyton beach, yep, that's right, Leyton beach, former training ground for beach volley ball teams during the 2012 Olympics. The High Road is also home to the Leyton Technical, a lovely pub that occupies the ground floor of the old town hall. It has good beer, good food, and the longest walk to the toilet you'll ever find. If you like beer, Leyton is the place for you, as both Brodie's Beers and the East London Brewing Company are based in E10. Sidmouth Park, just behind the carnival shop, is a hit with kids as there's loads of stuff to play on. If you are hungry or thirsty, wander to Francis road and you'll find a bucket load of nice cafes, including Yardarm, Marmelo Kitchen, and Albert & Francis.
