" Woodland House is a magnificent period residence built in the late 1800's. This spectacular Victorian property has spacious, well-laid out accommodation with a variety of original character features. Hartford and Greenbank train stations are within walking distance, providing access to many major towns and cities, and there are several well-thought of primary and secondary schools, as well as Mid-Cheshire College in the area. Despite its location on Chester Road, the property is remarkably quiet inside due to the fantastic sound-proofing provided by the extremely solid walls, and because the property extends back into the plot, the garden is extraordinarily peaceful too! There is a tall arched entrance door, entrance vestibule, stunning Minton tiled flooring to the reception hallway, stripped Pine internal doors, and beautifully restored sash windows, impressive fireplaces in all main receptions and bedrooms. The outstanding accommodation is arranged over three storeys and also features cellars providing yet even further storage. The large drawing room has an Adams style fireplace with electric fire, the floorboards are stripped and stained, and deep skirting boards and twin sash windows are another fine feature of this room. The sitting room has an impressive fireplace with a living flame gas fire, and the dining room has a feature chimney breast housing log burning stove, original pantry cupboard, sash window and door to the cellar. The kitchen is fitted with a range of units with butchers block work surfaces over, housing Belfast sink with Victorian style tap ware. French style doors with inset arched detail lead to the garden. A butlers pantry leads to a convenient downstairs cloakroom. To the first floor is the large master bedroom which has a Victorian fireplace and is situated at the front of the property. The second bedroom has wooden stripped flooring and bedroom three which is a double has a decorative fireplace. A bathroom with sash window to the side is located on this floor. On the second floor are bedrooms four and bedroom five which gives access to the loft where there is further important storage space. To the front of the property there is a hedge which gives a good degree of privacy to the property and at the rear there is a splendid enclosed lawned garden with trees, borders and a patio area, there is side access to the back of the property where there is a single detached garage and a deceptively large area for off road parking of four vehicles. "
