***VENDORS COMMENTS*** "e;If you are looking for a home that welcomes you, look no further! Our house has been a family home since it was built and even more so for the past 30 years. It is filled with happy memories, fun, laughter and even a few tears: all that makes a house a home!

Sunnymead is a bright, airy house. From the moment you go into the hall you’ll enjoy the bright aspect and feeling of space. The stairs leading up to the first floor are wide and shallow in step, allowing the light from upstairs to shine down and increase the feeling of light and air in the hallway. The front room continues that feel, with a large window overlooking the front of the house providing plenty of room for all the usual furniture.

The kitchen/dining room is the heart of the home, many family parties and meals were celebrated in it. My parents replaced all the old kitchen units and the whole room is both functional and homely. The conservatory is a practical space with plumbing for a washing machine and lots of room for storage cupboards. This was an addition to the house, built in the 90’s with a replacement roof some 7 years ago, and was recently repainted.

Upstairs there are 3 good sized bedrooms with fitted wardrobes in the two main bedrooms. The third bedroom is larger than most you will find in a terraced house, with ample room for a bed etc. My Mum used it as her sewing room and spent many hours making and adjusting clothes in there. The upstairs landing is wide and airy and the bathroom is also bright. The bathroom has been refitted twice and now boasts a large shower; this can easily be removed and replaced with a bath if that is your taste.

The house has a large tiled back garden with a garage at the end which opens up onto a back gated alley. You would be amazed at how large this garage is. My Dad kept his car in it whilst still being able to use it as a workshop to pursue his love of carpentry.

My parents loved their home and it’s location. They believed in maintaining it well and bringing professionals in to repair and redecorate whenever possible.

The house is close to public transport (a must for any public transport employee) as well as local schools and churches. You are only one bus ride away from four train stations; Streatham Common, Streatham, Norbury and Mitcham Eastfield. High streets such as Streatham, Norbury, Croydon and Mitcham are also nearby. There are two secondary schools close by, as well as three primary schools, which is why so many families with children live in the area. As important, there are many denominational churches nearby and you are only a few steps away from getting your paper, milk and a take away!

This house is full of happy memories. All it now needs is a new family to fill it again with laughter and joy!”
