" Parrishes is a significant Grade II Listed village residence dating back to the 16th century, of timber frame construction with part brick and pargetted elevations under a tiled roof which has been sympathetically extended to provide additional living and bedroom areas. The property retains many period features including a wealth of exposed timbers, fine brick inglenook fireplaces, original mullioned windows and unique pargetting to the ceiling within the drawing room. The garden has a brick and flint wall surround, there is extensive parking and double garaging with a studio/office over. The formal reception hall offers a splendid staircase leading to the first floor accommodation. The ground floor is complimented by an elegant drawing room with two fireplaces and a superb dining room. The kitchen/breakfast room is fitted with an extensive range of base and wall cabinets with integrated appliances. The extension forms the family room with a second staircase to the first floor serving the 5th bedroom with an en suite shower room. The first floor has 4 further good sized bedrooms; one with an en suite; two with fitted wardrobes and an attractive family bathroom.
