DESCRIPTION
8 Felton Street is a handsome looking stone built cottage. It enjoys a level position away from any main roads and is amongst other interesting neighbouring cottages many of which date back several hundreds of years. The cottage has been modernised over the years, although some further improvements could be carried out and would not be beyond the average handyman. The ground floor accommodation has a surprisingly good area of living space with two very comfortable sitting rooms, a large inner study/hallway which could also be used as a dining room and a further room which was originally used as a shop would make an excellent fourth bedroom if required . Parking is also available at the front of the property for many vehicles and our photographs depict the entrance through a timber five bar gate. It may be possible to use part of the garden as a further driveway and form a garage subject to any planning permissions that may be required. One of the main features of the property is the good sized gardens. The rear garden is laid attractively with a patio area and shrubs and flower beds. A large lawned area is formed adjoining open farmland. A decent size side garden is also available along with a vegetable growing area and various greenhouses and outbuildings.
