" In our opinion this is a delightful opportunity to acquire a light, bright and spacious three double bedroom terraced property situated in the Landport development of this historical county town and enjoying elevated views, in part, towards the surrounding Sussex countryside. Internally this family home provides generously proportioned, well-appointed accommodation which is considered to be well presented throughout. The entrance hall gives access to the 14 ft living room which centres around an ornate cast iron fireplace. Of particular note internally is the 14 ft kitchen which incorporates modern fitted units with ample space for appliances. An internal lobby gives access to the rear garden and a useful ground floor cloakroom with a modern white suite. Stairs ascend from the entrance hall where the accommodation continues; three double bedrooms all with fitted wardrobes and a family bathroom with a modern white suite. A ladder leads from the first floor landing to an 18 ft loft room which is currently used as a fourth bedroom. This light and bright space has been fully decorated, incorporates fitted eaves storage and wardrobes and benefits from far reaching views towards the South Downs. Further benefits of this charming home include stripped wood panelled internal doors, gas central heating and double glazing throughout. The rear garden is, in our opinion, a particular feature being predominantly laid to lawn, enclosed by fenced borders. Two patio areas, one of which lies adjacent to the property, provide ideal spaces for al fresco dining and entertaining. A timber-built, two room studio with power and lighting provides an additional space which is highly flexible in terms of use. A passageway to the side gives access to the front of the property where there is a further lawned garden. Lewes is a vibrant and historic county town and provides a mainline railway station (London Victoria 70 minutes) and an excellent range of individual shops, restaurants and recreational facilities.
