" Lewes is the historic county town of East Sussex nestled in the recently formed Sussex Downs National Park and boasts a wealth of character and charm including the Norman castle and Anne of Cleeves former home (divorce settlement from King Henry VIII). Lewes has a mix of high street and locally owned shops and businesses, a wide selection of both private and state schooling and a mainline train station with direct links to London & Brighton. Walks into local countryside are easy to find and the coast is a 15 minute drive South.The property is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of the popular residential area of Wallands Park and does require some internal updating.
