Badgers Keep occupies a peaceful location adjoining farmland in the village of Ridge, close to the marina at Ridge Wharf which provides river access to Poole Harbour. The RSPB at Arne and the Conservation Area, managed by Natural England, are close by. There is an excellent range of local amenities in the historic Saxon town of Wareham

(1 n++ miles) including a regular intercity train service to Southampton and London Waterloo taking 2 n++ hours. A full range of water sports are within easy reach along the Dorset coast and at the nearby sheltered harbour at Poole.

Continue along this road and just by the red telephone box take the left hand turn into Barnhill Road. Continue along this road, past the turning on the right to Sunnyside and the entrance to Badgers Keep will be found on the left hand side.
