Founded in 1853 by Sir Titus Salt an industrialist within the Yorkshire woollen industry. You will find the building just a short distance from Roberts Park, Leeds Liverpool Canal and River Aire offering many pleasant walks. This vibrant village is home to the famous Salts Mill, David Hockney art gallery, Salts Diner and the many other boutique establishments. There are an abundance of craft shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. The village is easily accessible with a local train station serving the cities of Leeds and Bradford and other areas of interest such as Ilkley and Skipton.
