"Vendor Comment Walsden House has been the most amazing first home for the last 3.5 years, and I have enjoyed creating my own haven of calm in the heart of Bristol. With so much to do on the doorstep there is never a dull day. Live music is a passion of mine and being able to go to gigs at venues like the Bristol Beacon and 02 academy as well festivals like Love saves the day has been fantastic. With so many locals it s hard to choose a favourite pub, but highlights include winning the pub quiz at The Hare on the Hill, listening to live music with a pint in The Canteen and trying the Pipe Dream cocktail in the Pipe and Slippers warning, it contains absinthe! .

It is also a foodie heaven with amazing restaurants like Nadu right at the bottom of the street. I have enjoyed popping to the Elemental Collective bakery for fresh bread and amazing hot chocolate or getting brunch in The Crafty Egg or The Bristolian, only a few minutes walk away.
In 10 minutes, you can walk to the city centre and the shops at Cabot Circus, but one of my personal favourites is That Thing, a cute independent shop in Stokes Croft ideal for gifts and festival attire. I love hosting and the flat has been perfect for having my friend s round for dinner, board game nights or pre drinks before heading out for the evening the bar cart may have been a giveaway! . I have wonderful neighbours and have felt very safe here, something I found important living by myself as a young woman. It will be a wrench to leave but having met my now partner on a night out in Bristol in fact we re ready to move on to our future family home.
