The village of South Cerney is situated within a few miles of the market town of Cirencester, known as the capital of the Cotswolds. The village has an active Tcommunity with a primary school, parish church, GP surgery, a veterinary practice, three public houses, a golf course and a supermarket. Cirencester, Cheltenham and Swindon are within easy reach and provide a much larger range of shopping and recreational facilities. The area is exceptionally well placed for communications with both Kemble and Swindon train stations providing hourly trains to London Paddington. The A419 provides access to both the M4 and M5 motorways. The larger cities of Bristol and Bath are also accessible. The area has a very good selection of schools including Hatherop Castle and Beaudesert Park and Pinewood prep schools, Westonbirt, Rendcomb College, Cheltenham Ladies College, Chelthenham College and Marlborough College.
