Meanwhile, the nearby Walthamstow Wetlands, right on our doorstep, provide a peaceful retreat with scenic nature walks and birdwatching opportunities. The Beer Mile is a local highlight for craft beer enthusiasts, and Exhale Brewery is a personal favorite, always offering unique food and drinks. For delicious meals, Slowburn restaurant is a go to spot with a cozy atmosphere and fantastic dishes. The Hawarden Road area has a wonderful community vibe, with neighbors always ready to lend a hand and local events fostering a true sense of belonging. Families will feel right at home with excellent nurseries and schools nearby, making it an ideal location for children. The karaoke nights at the Coppermill Pub always bring a fun and lively atmosphere, further adding to the sense of community. With Stoneydown Park just at the top of the road, there s always a lovely green space to enjoy, whether it s for a walk or for letting the kids play. Down the road in St. James, we love Beaten By A Whisker bakery, which serves up some of the best pastries in London. The quiet, tranquil haven of St. James Park is just a short stroll away, the perfect place for a relaxing walk if you re tired of the wetlands. This area truly has it all great transport links, a vibrant and welcoming community, amazing places to eat and drink, and the tranquility of nature right around the corner. It s been a wonderful place to call home. We re sad to leave the flat, where we ve been so happy, but with a growing family, it s become difficult to stay."
