16 Riverside has been our home for just over five years and we have loved living here. There were lots of reasons as to why we bought this house but the main reason was its fantastic location. The train station is a short walk away giving us easy access in to London and the beautiful village and its community was ideal for us with great local shops, pubs and restaurants. Our favourite walk is along the river which is just ten minutes away from the house where we have enjoyed many a drink at The Bounty Pub which sits right on the River Thames. As parents of a toddler the location has served us well as a young family too.

In the five years we have lived here we have modernised the house throughout including a recent garage conversion which has provided us with great open plan living perfect for entertaining friends and our toddler! A great advantage in having the townhouse layout is the size of the rooms which are all generously proportioned and light. Having the river at the end of our garden has been wonderful to enjoy drinks and meals over the years in this calming space. Our daughter loves being able to feed the ducks from her back door! We have been lucky to have lovely neighbours on both sides which has added to what has been a very happy time in this house.

Only a 10 minute walk to the village centre and the train station. Leave your car at home and commute into the city & then enjoy weekends entertaining in your kitchen dining room that backs onto a south facing garden leading down to the river.
