Homeowner Thoughts
In late 2020 I was on the hunt for a place in Wokingham with
great transport links but in a quiet location for me to relax. And
then, I struck gold with Mount Pleasant. Just a quick three-minute
walk from Wokingham Station, it was a real game-changer. But what
really made it special was the sense of community on our no-through
road. We have a WhatsApp group where everyone looks out for each
other, creating a genuine feeling of belonging.
What I really loved about the home was, yes, its charming Victorian
character, but it also had some modern features that really
improved the living space. The ground floor extension, with its
open plan kitchen and dining area, was a stand out feature. It
seamlessly blended the traditional charm of the house with
contemporary living. The bi-fold doors opening out onto the garden
brought in plenty of natural light and created a wonderful
indoor-outdoor flow, perfect for hosting barbecues and entertaining
friends. Also, on those chilly evenings, it was nice to relax in
front of the log burner
Alex`s Thoughts
Love this home for it`s individuality, it is ideally located
just a three-minute walk from Wokingham Station. It`s location is
rare, situated on a tranquil no-through road leading to St Paul`s
Church, it offers a quiet, one-of-a-kind setting that`s truly a
must-see. Just 10mins away is Wokingham Town Centre which has
flourished over the years, offering great amenities like a new
cinema, restaurants, and a gym nearby.
This property boasts the very handy third bedroom, perfect for a
home office or to start a family.. Additionally, the garden is a
very good size, providing a sunny retreat in the heart of
Wokingham.
We look forward to meeting you here.
