This beautiful apartment has everything you could desire. A plethora of cafes, bars and restaurants as well as boutiques and everyday amenities, all close enough to easily enjoy the action; whilst being far enough away to relax with family and friends.

The moment you step into your apartment you are immediately enveloped into calm and luxury. Recently renovated throughout to give a modern and minimalist style, whilst still proudly displaying the original features of the listed building.

Upon entering the building, you are greeted by a beautifully kept communal hallway and stairs leading to your front door. Once you have entered your apartment you will be welcomed by a spacious central hallway leading to all principal rooms.

The main reception room also accommodates the kitchen and is a fantastic size livingentertaining room which is full of South facing light from the three gorgeous bay windows. From here a view of the sea and city can be enjoyed via the large sash windows or your very own balcony, big enough for a table and chairs giving you the perfect mix of City and sea views. The solar powered blinds can be set to open and close autonomously at dusk and dawn.

The large double bedroom is to the rear of the apartment and is a great space to be in, with a built-in desk perfect for working from home, and a nice view over the communal garden. External walls are constructed from flint, which helps keep the room lovely and cool in the hot summer months, and warm in the winter.

The second bedroom benefits from built-in storage including a sizable wardrobe, and would work perfectly as a nursery, guest room, fitness space or second office.

The kitchen and bathroom were replaced a few months ago to an extremely high spec, with the kitchen incorporating a large island housing a sleek Elica hob with built-in extractor. The bathroom has made clever use of the space, with an Omnitub bath - shorter and deeper than a normal bath but perfect for a relaxing soak after a long week.

The apartment also benefits from the use of a communal garden and bike storage, as well as a built in loft perfect for storing suitcases or boxes.

A note from the owner:

I moved into the apartment and undertook a major renovation of the property, including; damp-proofing, replacing of windows and flooring, total renovation of the bathroom and kitchen, the addition of a new fireplace, chandelier, built-in carpentry, wooden panelling, solar powered blinds, and suspended ceiling in the master bedroom, from which soft lighting cascades down the walls.

Having planned to live here for a few years, great care was taken in selecting the highest quality fixtures and fittings, and the aim was to create a spa-retreat style space that would be a joy to live and work from home within. Plans have since changed and I‘m disappointed to be moving out much earlier than anticipated but am pleased that others (and potentially their furry friend) will be able to enjoy the apartment as much as I did.

The location of this apartment is perfect - so close to the station, shops and beach, but set back from the hustle and bustle which make it quiet and calm. The building is beautiful too, it‘s just been fully repainted on the outside, has regular maintenance from a cleaner and gardener, and has lovely neighbours who I‘ll miss.

My dog Evie enjoyed the communal garden (much easier for toilet breaks than having to walk her out on the street!) and it was also great to be able to work outdoors on sunny days.

Residents parking zone Z currently has a waiting list which I was on for 5 months before being offered a space â-- a shorter time than I‘d expected! Alternative parking is available through season tickets at Regency Square or Norton Road NCP car parks.
